About CUPAD

Camden United Physie & Dance (CUPAD) began in 2012 with classes on Thursday Nights. ‘Physie & Dance’ is a unique combination of modern dance, ballet, lyrical, stretch and strengthening exercises. Our classes are a fun and social way to enjoy fitness and make new friends. All members are welcome to come and simply join in on classes or compete at Club, Interclub, Team, Zone and National level competitions. Competitions are held annually at an individual and team level. The competitions are not mandatory but are very rewarding and promote good sportsmanship and club spirit.

Camden United Physie & Dance is one of the inaugural clubs of the Australian Physie and Dance Association (APDA), a professional association which was established to offer a new vision for Physie and dance. The club has experienced a number of great achievements and success at competitions during its ten years.

CUPAD is lucky to have a number of mothers and daughters (Leslie and Angela - right), sisters, Dads and husbands involved in our club. Family time is very important to us and we love to combine family time with physie time!

CUPAD classes are held every Thursday evening at the Narellan Community Centre, conveniently located across the road from Narellan Town Centre Shopping Mall. So many of our parents love our venue for its air-conditioning, mirrors, great parking and proximity to the shops, often popping across to the supermarket or to grab dinner after class.

CUPAD welcomes new members of all ages and abilities. We wear active wear to class for ultimate comfort and have beginner and novice classes to make our new members feel comfortable.

We encourage girls and women to support and uplift each other, celebrating each others successes and supporting each other through life's challenges. The club has a wonderful welcoming sense of community which is our greatest achievement of all!
